Visit Paris, Virtually
So before we knew what was going to happen this year (hint: Covid-19) we wanted to share guides to some of our favorite cities around the world. Since travel has become harder and many have decided to stay local, we have decided to show you some of our favorite cities, virtually. We are hoping to share some more in-depth guides, when flying becomes more accessible. Hope you enjoy these cities with your kiddos.
Sacred Heart Church
Check out the Sacred Heart in Paris, Le Sacre Coeur, one of the most famous churches in Paris. Virtual Tour Sacred Heart
It is located in Montmartre, a mountain with best views from Paris. There you can go to a great restaurant or have your portrait painted while having the best views of the city.
Palais Garnier
One of the most luxurious buildings within Paris city limits, the opera house, can be visited virtually. You can visit areas, which are not always open to the public. Virtual Tour Opera Garnier
Louvre Museum
One of the most famous museums in the world, home to the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo and the Virgin on the Rocks, the Louvre should top the list of places to visit in Paris. Explore some of their different rooms. Virtual tour of the Louvre
Eiffel Tower
Probably the most well-known out of all the Parisian monuments, the Tour Eiffel, was designed and named after Gustave Eiffel. This monument has a comparable importance to the French, as the Statue of Liberty has to the Americans. (Fun fact: there is a small statue of liberty in Paris and the Statue of Liberty in NYC was donated to USA by France). Virtual views of the Eiffel Tower
La Sainte Chapelle
The most jaw-dropping stained-glass windows you will see, are located in this beautiful chapel at Ile de la Cité. This virtual tour is bound to make you add this landmark to your list of places to visit in Paris as soon as you are able to get there.
Here are some French brands, to get your little ones in the mood for this virtual tour:
